There's new royalty in town!!!Friday night concluded the 2010 ARC Battle. Congrats to each and every band that competed in the finals. Once again we had an enormous crowd making this show the largest indie show of the year in KW for a 3rd straight year in a row.
Winning The ARC Cup was Kitchener/Waterloo band DIE ATLANTIC. Claiming the Silver medal was Kitchener’s BRAVURA with Cambridge’s YELL THE BURDEN winning bronze.
The battle finals was filmed and will be released online and in DVD format in the coming months. Prior to announcing the winning band of the 2010 ARC battle, ARC Cloathing announced that it is organizing the largest music festival Kitchener has ever seen... on Saturday September 18th ARC Cloathing Co will be promoting KOI Music Festival. KOI will feature over 140 artists performing at 10 indoor venues and on one outdoor stage. Friday night concluded the semi finals for the 2010 ARC Battle. Huge performance from the winning band Everyday Legend! Taking 2nd place was Bravura and in 3rd place was Life Like Rockets. All 3 bands will now be moving on to perform in the finals Friday May 28th at Elements Nightclub.FAN VOTE
If your favourite band didn't qualify for the finals they still have one more chance to make it... Click on the ENROLL tab and you will be brought to a page with a poll, then simply click on your favourite band. Whichever band has the most votes cast by Friday May 21st will be playing in the finals! Easy enough? So go to the ENROLL section and get your favourite band playing for the ARC Cup in the 2010 ARC Battle Finals!!!

What an unbelievable line up Friday's show had. Very, very tight competition. Moving onto the finals is Yell The Burden, Die Atlantic, and The Cobrahawks. These bands will be performing on Friday May 28th at Elements Nightclub in the 2010 ARC Battle Finals. Last year we had over 850 spectators out... this year looks to be even better!!! 3 more bands will earn their respective spots in the finals this Friday at the Group 'B' Semi Finals. Doors open at 7pm Friday night. What a 'Wild Card' it was last night... probably the closest we have ever had! Taking top spot last night was Split The Skye with The Intake Of Glass taking second place. Both bands will move on to play in the Semi-Finals on Friday April 23rd. The ARC Battle takes a week off this next Friday to gear up for the Semi-Finals (Friday April 23rd and Friday April 30th). Tickets are now available for sale through the bands for both these shows. Online tickets for the Finals (Friday May 28th) will also go on sale this week. The Group 'A' Preliminary rounds wrapped up this past Friday with an over the top performance by The Bosswhich who took the top spot moving onto the semi finals on April 16th.
